☎ Call (760) 769-1159

The Morongo Basin is a string of desert communities connected by State Route 62. Twentynine Palms sits at the eastern end of it, and the towns we serve run west from there through Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley to Morongo Valley, with Landers to the northwest.

Distance matters in a place this spread out. The pages below give honest driving distances and the local conditions that shape water damage in each town, so you know what to expect before you call.

ZIP codes we cover

In Twentynine Palms we serve ZIP codes 92277 and 92278. Joshua Tree is 92252, Yucca Valley is 92284, Landers is 92285 and Morongo Valley is 92256. Each town page lists the ZIP codes that belong to that town and explains how they relate to local roads and neighborhoods.

What changes from town to town

Water service, sewer and building authorities differ across the basin. Twentynine Palms Water District serves the Twentynine Palms area, and the county service review found most properties there on septic. Other towns have their own providers and conditions, which each town page explains with sources.

Not sure which service fits? Dispatch can sort it out any hour.

How dispatch works across distances

When you call, tell dispatch which town you are in and where the water is coming from. We arrange same-day response when crews are available and we explain the scope and price before work begins. We do not promise arrival windows, because storms, closures on Highway 62 and distance all change the answer.

Highway 62 is the spine of the service area

State Route 62 carries nearly every trip in the basin, so a closure or crash changes dispatch plans. In Twentynine Palms the road is also called Twentynine Palms Highway, and our office sits on it. Flash flooding can close side roads such as Adobe Road and Bagley Road, which is what happened in the 2014 storm that required swift-water rescues.

When we plan a response we consider where the water is, where crews are and which roads are open. That is why dispatch asks for your street and nearest cross road, not only your town.

Mention-only places

Some places sit near our coverage but have no page of their own. Pioneertown, ZIP 92268, is a short drive northwest of Yucca Valley and is covered on the Yucca Valley page. The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center and Joshua Tree National Park are federal property with their own rules, so call and ask before assuming service applies.

Wonder Valley and other outlying areas east and north of Twentynine Palms are served from the home base. Tell dispatch your location and we will explain what is possible.

What to know before you call from outside Twentynine Palms

Water, sewer and permit authorities differ by town, and so do local risks such as washes, canyon runoff and septic systems. Read your town's page first if you have time. If you do not, call and describe the problem, and dispatch will sort out the rest.

For a quick tour of what we do in any town, see the services overview or go straight to emergency water removal if water is standing right now.

Why local conditions matter to scope

A flooded kitchen in one town and a flooded kitchen in another may need different handling. Septic systems, private wells, canyon runoff and washes change what is in the water, how it moves and what has to be removed. A home on a hillside lot near a wash faces different risks than one on a flat lot in town.

That is why each town page covers what was verified for that place, such as the water provider, whether the area runs on septic and how storm runoff behaves. Where a fact could not be confirmed, the page says to check with the county or your water provider instead of guessing.

If you are unsure which page applies, start with Joshua Tree for the nearest neighbor, or call and ask. Dispatch will place you on the map and explain what to expect.
